What is Project Fix It Forward?

Project Fix It Forward is a community initiative started by 614 Handyman to give back to the people who support local businesses.

Every month, we choose a small project and complete it at no cost for someone who:

  • May be going through a tough time
  • Doesn’t have the ability to complete the work themselves
  • Or could simply use a helping hand

 

This could include individuals such as:

  • Elderly homeowners who can’t keep up with repairs
  • Someone dealing with an illness or injury
  • A family going through a difficult season
  • Or anyone who could genuinely benefit from a helping hand

 

This is simply a way to give back and support members of our local community.

What Types of Projects Qualify?

To keep this sustainable and allow us to help consistently, projects are limited to small to medium repairs such as:

  • Drywall repair
  • Small interior painting projects
  • Trim or finish carpentry
  • Minor fence or deck repairs
  • Other small household fixes

 

Large remodels, full room renovations, or multi-day projects typically won’t qualify.

Due to the number of submissions, not every project will be selected. We appreciate everyone who takes the time to nominate and share their story.
